The Specialist High Skills Major (SHSM) is a specialized high school program that allows students to earn their Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and focus their learning on a specific economic sector at the same time. Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program (OYAP)

Considering the trades? OYAP is a school-to-work program that lets Grade 11 and 12 students earn apprenticeship hours while completing their high school diploma, which helps them become certified faster after graduation.

Summer Company

A summer entrepreneurship program for students in Ontario aged 15-29. Students receive $1,500 in start-up money to kick-off a new summer business, and receive advice and mentorship from local business leaders to help get the business up and running. They can receive up to an additional $1,500 when successfully completing the program requirements.
