Connect and Influence.
We get you connected to the youth employment ecosystem — and we also make sure your voice is heard. In the MyStartr community, every young person is an influencer.
We help you grow your network by talking to other young people. We talk about employment goals and exchange advice on how to reach them. At the same time, we create opportunities for dialogue with employers, so you can learn more about what they’re looking for in new employees, and they can understand better how you see the world.
We want to know your point of view on barriers to employment, and on issues that are reshaping society and changing the workplace. Like gender equity and 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion. Racial injustice and Indigenous rights. Climate change and sustainability. Because the big questions affecting everyone’s future will also have a huge impact on the future of work — especially for a new generation.
As young people come together to talk about these issues, your voice matters. And hearing other thoughtful voices across our MyStartr community will help make your own journey easier.
Here’s how you can connect with the MyStartr community to share your perspective and expand your horizons:
Young people and employers one on one — talking freely, learning from each other.
A chance to share your experiences and ideas - while being paid for your time!
Tell us what's on you mind - and what needs to change in youth employment.
Bringing together young people and employers to create solutions.
MyStartr Youth Summit
A dialogue between young people seeking good jobs and employers looking for talent.
In the MyStartr community,
every young person is an influencer.
We need your point of view on barriers to employment and income inequality. On gender equity and 2SLGBTQ+ inclusion. On racial injustice and Indigenous rights. On climate change and sustainability. On all the issues that shape Canada’s — and the world’s — social, economic and environmental wellbeing.
As we work together to tackle important problems, your voice matters. And we hope the other thoughtful voices in our community will help make your own journey easier.
